The attached correction applies only to the first five production units.
The attached December 8, 2022 service notice describes a specific wiring issue in the first production shipment of five ZoneBraker units. It is not a general repair for every controller that fails to recognize an aerial sensor.
The notice distinguishes the HMI’s X00 input from its COM connection and uses the sensor’s startup input indication to decide whether that particular wiring issue is plausible. A correctly configured controller also needs the intended operating mode and zone settings.
If the affected early unit and wiring match the notice, a qualified service technician can follow its illustrated correction after isolating all power and verifying the unit is de-energized. Do not move a 24 V wire based only on the symptom, wire color or an unverified assumption that every ZoneBraker was built the same way.
For other units, record the model/serial number, mode, sensor indication and wiring condition for diagnosis using the matching controller and sensor instructions. Do not bypass sensor or overtemperature protection.
