Viewing energy-use history on nSpire Touch thermostats

Both UDG4 and UWG4 provide energy-use readouts on the thermostat.

On both the UDG4-4999 nSpire Touch and UWG4-4999 nSpire Touch WiFi, open Menu → Energy Use to view the thermostat’s history. Use the arrows to move between:

  • Last 24 hours: heating minutes per hour.
  • Last 7 days: heating hours per day.
  • Last 12 months: heating hours per month.
  • Energy Use Data: calculated electricity consumption and heating cost for those periods.

The floor-load setting is used to calculate energy use, and the price per kWh is set under User Settings → Energy Tariff. Check those inputs before relying on the cost estimate.

The non-WiFi model provides these readouts locally. The WiFi model also provides them on its own screen; the manuals do not specify a guaranteed daily cloud-upload cadence, cloud retention period or backup/restore service. Do not treat the display history as a guaranteed cloud backup.
