Recover an expired or disconnected Bluetooth pairing for the nJoy UWG5-4999 thermostat.
Use these steps when an iPhone has lost its pairing with an nJoy UWG5-4999 thermostat.
- Restart the iPhone.
- In the iPhone Bluetooth settings, select the thermostat and choose Forget This Device. Restart the iPhone again.
- In the nJoy app, open the Bluetooth connection screen. Press and hold the thermostat entry to remove it, then restart the app.
- Enable Bluetooth on the phone and use the latest nJoy app. Wake the thermostat, use its side button to enter standby, then press the side button again to activate pairing mode. The Bluetooth icon should blink.
- Follow the app’s pairing instructions and confirm the connection on the thermostat.
Only one phone can maintain an active Bluetooth connection to the thermostat at a time. Close the nJoy app on other paired phones before trying again.
