Signal-cable distance for nJoin USG-4000 and nJoin 2.0 USG5-4000 power modules.
The maximum signal-cable run is 80 ft (25 m) from the thermostat to a power module, or between successive power modules. The manufacturer recommends 20 AWG field wiring in two different colors.
Use the wiring diagram for the exact thermostat and module combination. Only one wire may be connected to each A, B, C, or D terminal. Incorrect signal wiring can leave a module continuously energized and overheat the floor, so installation and wiring checks must be performed with power disconnected by a qualified installer.
