Check the normal controls first, then use model-specific professional electrical diagnosis.
Check that the panel’s normal power switch, external switch and any timer are on. If a room thermostat controls the panel, make sure its setpoint is above the measured room temperature. Check whether the supply circuit has tripped; a recurring trip needs electrical diagnosis.
Allow the product’s stated warm-up time. The Ember manual describes an initial panel warm-up of approximately 5–10 minutes; that is not a promise that the room will reach its target temperature in that time. Keep the panel unobstructed and observe its mounting clearances.
If the panel remains cold, turn it off and have a qualified electrician identify the exact model, supply rating, controller and connections. Isolate the circuit before opening or disconnecting wiring. Any energized voltage test must be performed with the required electrical safety precautions.
Use model-specific service information for resistance or thermal-protection testing. Zero ohms and OL/infinite resistance are different readings: near-zero resistance is not an open circuit. Do not condemn a panel using an unverified universal resistance table or reset time.
Do not open or bypass the panel’s internal safety devices. Contact WarmlyYours technical support at (800) 875-5285 with the model, symptoms and professional test results.
