Fitting the electrical collar on a legacy Infinity towel warmer

Follow the collar and seal orientation in the matching Infinity manual.

For the legacy hardwired Infinity arrangement shown in manual TW-MANUAL-INFINITY-10262-E, the stainless collar slides over the tube where the wires leave the warmer. Its larger opening faces away from the warmer toward the electrical cover plate.

The cover plate then fits over the same tube, with its back toward the electrical box. Keep the rubber O-ring in place. After the electrician completes the connections and fixes the cover plate, check the collar’s rubber seal is seated correctly and slide the collar until it touches the O-ring on the cover plate.

If the parts will not fit, stop and check their orientation and whether the collar, seal and tube match the unit. Do not remove the O-ring, use the warmer as a lever, or force the collar on with body weight. The manual does not specify household oil as an assembly aid.

Have WarmlyYours identify the correct replacement part if the tube or collar is damaged or mismatched. Newer dual-connection Infinity models use a different Power Leg assembly and require their own manual. Isolate power before electrical work; wiring is for a qualified professional.
